Detox Ear Acupuncture
Auricular acupuncture or ear acupuncture is one of the more widely used microsystems of acupuncture. Microsystems use one small area of the body such as the ear, foot or scalp as a representation of the entire body, to treat conditions that are present anywhere in the body.

During the treatment needles are inserted into each ear as you sit or lay on the treatment couch. For detoxification auricular acupuncture is usually administered without the need for other ear or body points. Sometimes a pricking sensation will be felt as the needles are inserted, followed by a warm feeling in each ear. After the needles are inserted, it is important to relax quietly for 30 to 40 minutes. You are encouraged to close your eyes. Many people find themselves drifting into a refreshing sleep.
